Royal Canin seeks a Global Quality & Food Safety Specialist to drive compliance across our distribution network and manufacturing sites. You will lead standards for traceability, product disposition, and hold/release processes, ensuring high quality from plant to pet.

Candidates bring 5–10 years in quality and supply chain, with ISO certifications and strong IT skills, and demonstrated ability to influence across regions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Food Science, Quality, or Supply Chain.
• 5–10 years in Quality and Food Safety or Supply Chain with strong distribution quality and traceability knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC, or BRC Storage & Distribution standards.
• Proficiency in IT systems such as WMS, Agnostic, and SAP.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to lead and influence across regions and functions.
• Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and change management.
• Excellent networking skills and ability to deliver projects remotely.

Responsabilités

• Act as the global Quality & Food Safety Specialist for standards related to Distribution Quality Management, Traceability, Hold & Release, and Product Disposal.
• Lead global compliance roadmaps for these standards across the distribution network and manufacturing sites where applicable.
• Ensure calibration and efficiency of gap assessments and define concession needs.
• Facilitate the QiD/QiM Community of Practice, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide functional IT system expertise for market traceability systems and support global deployment.
• Offer technical guidance for risk assessments and evaluation of new requirements.
• Serve as liaison with Petcare and corporate teams on distribution quality and traceability matters.
• Maintain regular communication with leadership teams and manage escalations.
