Job summary

ABB is seeking a dynamic Product Materials Compliance Specialist to oversee global regulatory requirements such as RoHS, REACH, and TSCA for electronics products. The role blends technical rigor with cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant materials across the product life cycle.

The position supports a hybrid work model in France, liaising with R&D and supply chain teams to interpret regulations, review declarations, and implement compliant processes that minimize risk and support

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across organizational levels in a global context.
• Experience with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, TSCA, SCIP, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret global product materials compliance regulations.
• Review SDS, declarations, and certificates for compliance.
• Perform substance-level compliance assessments and monitor regulatory developments.
• Coordinate with local P&L colleagues to collect compliance information.
• Support customer product materials compliance requests and audits.
• Maintain product materials compliance data and records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
