Generare seeks a Partnerships & Sourcing Manager to build an international network of microbial diversity sources and collaborations. Based in Paris with hybrid work, you will identify partners, negotiate agreements, and coordinate flow of samples and strains to our laboratory.

You will work across France and abroad, shaping sourcing strategy and managing relationships, with 1–2 years of relevant experience and a background in science or related fields.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in partnerships, projects or operations.
• Background in science, engineering, agronomy, business, international management or law.
• Curiosity to understand scientific priorities and translate them into decisions.
• Clear communication and sound judgement for negotiations and expectations.
• Care with contracts, documentation and traceability; seek specialist advice when needed.
• Professional English for international relationships; other languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop relationships with research institutes, culture collections, governments, field collectors and companies.
• Prioritise sources with potential to add microbial diversity to the platform.
• Evaluate opportunities to purchase or license existing soil and strain collections.
• Negotiate scope, deliverables and commercial terms with partners.
• Coordinate sourcing activities and manage handovers to the lab in Paris, including travel.
