Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Global Packaging Technology Specialist – DRY Food to lead packaging industrialization and governance at a global level. Based in Aimargues, France, you will drive end-to-end packaging scale-up from lab to factory across DRY and WET processes for Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition.

You will define packaging specs, validate new materials and technologies, mentor DEPLOY teams, and partner with regional teams to ensure robust packaging solutions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science/engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food) – Packaging preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging industry as R&D Engineer, or Quality & food Safety in factory environment.
• Proven experience in multicultural and international companies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead of PACKAGING INDUSTRIALIZATION pillar for DRY & WET at Global.
• Drive End-to-End Industrialization across Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition sites.
• Ideation: collaborate with cross-functional teams from kickoff to launch; assess complexity; draft Industrial Risk Assessments.
• Prototyping: update IRAs based on pilot outputs; participate in Go/No-Go gates.
• Industrialization: define test run validation plans; sampling protocols; settings with DEPLOY teams.
• Launch: publish final packaging material and format specs; validate IRAs for deployment.
• Factory & Regional Support: act as escalation point for regional teams; troubleshoot; support transfers.
• Lead of PACKAGING GOVERNANCE pillar: define and govern global R&D packaging specs; CP/CpK targets.
• New Technology & Material Deployment: validate and roll out new packaging materials and technologies.
• Commissioning, Validation & Start-up: publish validation protocols across lines and equipment.
• Knowledge Management: build a knowledge repository; upskill DEPLOY teams.
