Jobgether, a partner company in France, seeks a Microservices Engineer to design and develop REST API microservices using Go and Python. You will work on scalable backend services that support millions of clients with a focus on resilience, performance, and security.

You’ll influence API design, architecture decisions, and DevOps practices within a globally distributed engineering team. You will contribute to technical ownership, participate in architecture discussions, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Professional experience developing modern, maintainable software using Python and/or Go.
• Experience building scalable web services or working with systems programming.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and performance considerations.
• Hands-on CI/CD practices and Linux (Debian/Ubuntu).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend software and REST API microservices at scale.
• Design APIs and architectures with technical review, contribute to documentation and governance.
• Develop comprehensive automated tests to ensure reliability and quality.
• Build and operate fault-tolerant services focusing on scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Investigate issues, debug complex problems, and deliver maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineers and contribute to cross-team initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and influence best practices within and outside the team.
• Explore improvements in database performance, distributed tracing, and DevOps practices.
• Participate in international team events with in-person collaboration approx. twice a year.
