Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Global Software Buyer to drive IT software purchasing strategies and supply base management. You will identify market opportunities, manage supplier relations, and lead negotiations to deliver quality, cost, and on-time delivery across software and related services.

This role reports to the Global Indirect Purchasing Manager Software and emphasizes risk management and internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an IT purchasing department.
• Master degree in Purchasing (BAC +5) from a university, engineering or business school.

Responsibilities

• Define and propose the commodity strategy for software and related services.
• Manage supplier lists, markets, and cost reduction programs.
• Oversee the sourcing process to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Handle the order-to-pay process and contract setup; ensure timely supplier payments.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage internal customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive technical savings and risk management.
