Viridien seeks an Internal Audit intern to join a four-person team spanning Massy and Rotterdam. You will contribute to diverse audit assignments, review control effectiveness, and help prepare reports for management.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, curiosity and a rigorous, objective mindset. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s in Finance or Accounting, with strong MS Office skills and bilingual French/English abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or Business School program in Finance, Auditing, or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting; prior internal auditing or finance experience is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Participate in Internal Audit engagements (operational, compliance, and entity reviews).
• Assess the effectiveness of the internal control framework.
• Perform audit testing and analyze processes and controls.
• Document audit work per group methodologies and standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Assess design and operation of key controls within the group framework.
• Support Internal Audit department activities and day-to-day tasks.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to enhance audit processes and tools.
