Job summary

Mars France is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage VAT declarations, local taxes and indirect tax processes for Mars businesses in France. You will collaborate with Mars Global Services/Genpact to ensure accurate VAT data and act as the tax lead in audits, supporting ad hoc projects such as E-Invoicing and WoW improvements.

Fluency in English and 5–10 years of experience are expected. The role requires interaction with various levels of the organization and contributes to overall tax

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or tax; strong understanding of VAT and indirect taxes.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in international tax or accounting projects.
• Experience in financial control and custodianship; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure VAT declarations and payments, local taxes, EPR, Organic tax, CVAE compliance.
• Collaborate with Mars Global Services/Genpact to improve input VAT data accuracy.
• Act as the tax stakeholder in audits on indirect tax topics.
• Support ad hoc projects like VAT questions in E-Invoicing.
• Identify opportunities to improve WoW and indirect tax planning with tax advisors.
