Danfoss in Ville-la-Grand, France, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the hydraulic quick disconnect couplings team, guiding technical direction and accelerating product innovation.

You will manage the lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborate with Product Management, Operations and Sales, and drive design for manufacturability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Significant experience in product engineering or development.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and people management responsibilities.
• Collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and fostering an inclusive team culture.
• Experience with hydraulic quick disconnect couplings or related fluid power systems.
• Strong background in NPD, design validation, and DFM/DFA.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to align with global teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute, learn, and grow.
• Guide the entire product lifecycle for our QDC portfolio, from initial concept to a successful launch.
• Collaborate with global partners, including Product Management, Operations, and Sales, to translate market needs into reliable and effective engineering solutions.
• Ensure continuous improvement is integrated, guiding strategic design optimization and collaborative problem-solving.
• Promote Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) principles to ensure our solutions are scalable, reliable, and ready for global production.
