Pernod Ricard SA seeks a Global Corporate Strategy & M&A Senior Manager based in Paris. You will report to the Global Corporate Strategy & M&A Director within Group Finance and shape the company’s M&A agenda, combining strategic analysis with end‑to‑end deal execution and senior management advisory.

You will lead due diligence, build detailed business cases, and coordinate with tax, legal, HR and external advisors. Travel up to 20% and a postgraduate degree are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in investment banking, consulting, or Big Four deal services.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build complex financial models.
• Excellent written and oral communication in French and English.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional and international projects.
• Autonomy and ability to lead deals without direct reports.

We are looking for a Global Corporate Strategy & M&A Senior Manager!

You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Your key missions: Reporting to the Global Corporate Strategy & M&A Director within the Group Finance department, you will help shape and implement Pernod Ricard’s corporate strategy and M&A agenda, combining strategic analysis with end-to-end deal execution and providing fact-based recommendations to senior management.

You will contribute to defining the Group’s M&A priorities, target universe and key areas of strategic interest.

You will lead in-depth assessments of potential transactions from multiple value-creation perspectives (strategic, operational, financial), building detailed business cases and financial models covering valuation, returns, sensitivities and scenarios.

You will prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and strategic rationale for the Group’s top management and governance bodies.

You will manage transactions end to end: comprehensive due diligence with internal and external advisors, coordination of cross-functional stakeholders (tax, controlling, legal, HR) and external partners (accounting, banking), and evaluation of structuring scenarios with legal and tax teams.

You will contribute to the review and negotiation of financial and operational provisions in transaction documentation, in alignment with the legal M&A team, and coordinate signing and closing activities.

You will support transition, integration or separation planning, including synergy and value-capture roadmaps and post-closing follow-up.

You will support the development, articulation and periodic review of the Group’s corporate strategy through market analyses, target landscaping, competitive intelligence and benchmarking (financial performance, brand portfolio, positioning).

You will contribute to internal missions aimed at optimizing the Group’s efficiency and effectiveness, including strategic reviews of specific business lines or activities.

You will maintain the Group’s network of advisors and bankers to identify market opportunities, and interact regularly with affiliate CFOs, CoDi members, functional heads and senior bankers.

You will operate on a global scope, with business travel of up to 20% depending on deals.

If you recognize yourself in the description below, you have a postgraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting or Big Four transaction services.

You have strong analytical skills, together with the capacity to grasp the big picture.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.

You have proven coordination skills in cross-functional and international environments, and the ability to lead projects and mobilize senior internal and external stakeholders without direct reports.

You are autonomous: you produce supporting materials, business plans and valuations, work directly with outside counsel on due diligence, gather the information you need internally and run meetings as the sole M&A representative.

You are highly organized, proactive and available at short notice.

You have a strategic mindset, you drive results and you adapt your approach to each situation.
