Job summary

Opella is seeking an intern Communications Assistant to join the Global Manufacturing & Supply community. You will help build editorial and digital communications strategies for our industrial network and support content creation for social media channels and intranet.

The role reports to the Manufacturing & Supply Communications Lead and requires strong writing, English and French editing, and familiarity with multimedia tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Communications or Journalism.
• A first professional experience in communications or marketing.
• Strong editorial skills in English and French.
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and platforms (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.), including videos.
• Demonstrated project management skills would be a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to creating the editorial content for our social media channels (Yammer, LinkedIn), monthly newsletter and intranet.
• Create and edit video and graphic content for the M&S coms campaigns (Quality, Innovation, Safety…), internal events, quarterly townhalls.
• Provide support in liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency, collect inputs and coordinate the deployment of coms campaigns.
• Be involved in the design and implementation of the Site visitor journey project with the M&S communications network.
• Be involved in the day-to-day management of global communications at M&S, including collecting data, editing content, creating assets and reports.
