Jobtailor in France seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to define, deploy, and sustain quality processes across the GIS product lifecycle. You will lead the implementation of key tools including FMEAs, MSA, SPC, and control plans, guiding cross-functional teams to robust product quality.

You will coach RCA, lead complex investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions across factories and customer sites while coordinating Quality Kaizen initiatives and ISO 9001 compliant audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in GIS or closely related industrial environment.
• Deep knowledge of GIS products and reliability requirements.
• Expertise in diagnosing mechanical failures, insulation defects, and product applications.
• Proven experience in field investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency with PD pattern interpretation and root cause identification on GIS products.
• Ability to support plant quality teams in PD analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong expertise in quality engineering, risk management and problem-solving.
• Proven experience with Quality tools: FMEAs, MSA, control plans and process control.
• Ability to identify CTQ characteristics and implement prevention/detection mechanisms.
• Experience with SPC, capability analysis, and data-driven control approaches.
• Experience with 8D, A3, 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, RCA.
• RCA Coach Certification and extensive quality Kaizen leadership.

Responsabilités

• Define, deploy and sustain quality engineering and quality assurance processes across the GIS product lifecycle.
• Lead implementation of quality tools including Product and Process FMEAs, control plans, MSA and SPC.
• Define standards, governance and documentation for consistent quality deployment across products and sites.
• Ensure delivery of NPI quality deliverables per Confluence NPI process and verify compliance before milestones.
• Coach in RCA and structured problem solving for cross-functional teams.
• Lead complex quality investigations and robust corrective/preventive actions at factories and customer sites.
• Drive improvements for GIS products not meeting FPY objectives to sustain results.
• Integrate field feedback and corrective actions into FMEA updates.
• Deploy high-impact Quality Kaizen initiatives at production sites.
• Harmonize actions across lines to improve product quality and simplify processes.
• Implement structured audits of manufacturing processes and routine testing to strengthen control.
