A leading payment technology company based in France is seeking a General Manager to oversee the Proximis business. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in SaaS for retail or fintech, with proven skills in leadership and P&L management. This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office, and offers a dynamic work environment focused on customer-centric growth.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial GeneralManager to own the end-to-end Proximis business in France and beyond. You will lead Product, Marketing, Sales, and CustomerSuccess.
Lead & Inspire a cross‑functional team—Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and CustomerSuccess—instilling a high‑performance, customer‑centric culture.
Define & Execute Strategy for growth, market positioning, and go‑to‑market plans that strengthen Proximis’ presence among enterprise retailers.
Elevate Brand & Relationships by showcasing customer success stories, thought leadership, and partnership with Planet’s payments offering.
Manage P&L—including budgeting, pricing, forecasting, and board‑level reporting—ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.
Represent Proximis at trade shows, analyst briefings, and executive sponsor meetings with key clients.
Build Partnerships with system integrators, technology vendors, and strategic alliances to accelerate market penetration in French‑speaking and Iberian regions.
Senior leader with 10+ years in SaaS for Retail, eCommerce, or Fintech.
Proven ability to scale a software brand and strengthen customer loyalty in competitive markets.
Deep understanding of OMS, headless / composable commerce, and omnichannel customer journeys.
Commercially astute and comfortable negotiating C‑level enterprise deals.
Inspirational people manager who builds high‑trust cultures and develops future leaders.
Resilient, strategic, results‑oriented, and adept at navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
Fluent in French and English.
