Bain & Company is seeking an AI Engineering Intern in Paris to contribute to GenAI applications and agentic AI solutions. You will work with engineers, consultants, and data scientists to prototype and deploy AI-powered solutions in real client contexts.

The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and increasing responsibility through real project work, with in-person collaboration three days a week. A strong foundation in Python and API development is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and building APIs or services (REST/gRPC).
• Experience with GenAI and large language models is preferred.
• Background in AI/ML with hands-on project work (internships, research or open-source).
• Familiarity with testing, version control, CI/CD and performance profiling.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop GenAI applications (copilots, automation, decision support).
• Implement AI pipelines and components (RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings).
• Build agent capabilities including context management and tool integration.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to APIs and services across the SDLC.
• Collaborate across product, engineering and data science teams to deploy reliable AI systems.
