Mindrift is seeking a Data Science AI Trainer for a fully remote, part-time freelance engagement. Join projects that advance Generative AI by crafting real-world data science problems and assessing solutions using Python and common libraries.

You should have a master's or PhD, 5+ years in data science, strong Python, SQL, ML knowledge, and GenAI experience. You will design end-to-end data pipelines, reproducible challenges, and contribute to impactful AI across industries.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years hands-on data science with business impact.
• Portfolio of completed projects/publications.
• Proficient in Python for data science (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).
• Expert in statistical analysis and ML with practical applications.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with GenAI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompts, vector DBs).
• Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment workflows.
• Familiar with TensorFlow/PyTorch and LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Design original computational data science problems simulating real-world workflows.
• Create problems requiring Python programming to solve with libraries listed.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non-manual solutions.
• Develop problems with non-trivial reasoning in data processing, modeling, and insights.
• Create deterministic problems with reproducible answers.
• Base problems on real business challenges like analytics, risk, forecasting, and optimization.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to deployment considerations.
• Incorporate big data processing scenarios with scalable approaches.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard data science methods.
• Document problem statements with realistic business context and verified answers.
