Job summary

Malt is expanding its Legal team in Paris to strengthen data protection and regulatory compliance across its operations. You will work with the DPO and Compliance Officer to ensure GDPR and related regulatory adherence in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

As a Master 2 or Bar school candidate specializing in GDPR, you will handle DSAR intake, DPAs, DTIA support, and privacy registers, while contributing to training materials and policy updates in a hybrid Paris office setting.

Qualifications

Master 2 in GDPR/regulatory law or Bar school focus
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to review legal documents carefully and with discretion

Responsibilities

Assist with intake, verification, and handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) within deadlines.
Conduct third-party vendor privacy risk assessments and review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
Support Data Transfer Impact Assessments (DTIAs) and vendor reviews.
Audit and update ROPA and privacy registers under DPO guidance.
Monitor GDPR, EU AI Act, and NIS2 developments and prepare concise briefs.
Support internal compliance queries and ethics policies as needed.
Help design employee privacy-awareness training resources.
