Deutsche Börse Group in Paris is seeking a Gas Trading Operations Specialist to oversee daily market operations and support customers on gas futures and options. You will help validate settlement prices and contribute to market surveillance while collaborating across the EEX Group and external partners.

The role offers exposure to European energy markets, ownership of operational processes, and opportunities for long-term growth within a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or business school or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, esp. gas futures and options.
• Solid understanding of exchange platforms and their operations.
• Proficiency in IT systems and infrastructure.
• Willingness to engage in international projects and environment.
• Excellent English; French and/or German a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily market operations and ensure reliable trading execution.
• Support customers with questions on venues, products and processes.
• Determine and validate settlement prices using established methodologies.
• Contribute to market surveillance and price integrity efforts.
• Collaborate with EEX Group and external partners across functions.
• Participate in projects to develop and expand gas market offerings.
