Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks an FWC & IFCC Module Integration Manager to lead the integration of next generation Integrated Flight Control Computers. Qualifications

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an FWC & IFCC Module Integration Manager.

The role is based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Avionics Products Development Department within the Domain which is Airbus avionics equipment internal supplier, also Chamber of reference for this perimeter.

The actual context is the development of several brand new computers based on a product line strategy with reusable hardware and software bricks. This results in a much exciting period where we also take advantage of these developments to use new ways of working with plenty of opportunities for optimization and ideas to propose!

This new computer products line will address commercial aircraft as well as helicopters.

Within this exciting and challenging context, you will play a key role in managing module integration of the next Integrated Flight Control Computers!

Module Integration is the activity which ensures that several Applications are properly integrated on one computer through appropriate configuration files.

This activity is a key enabler to support incremental certification (i.e. evolution of one application without recertifying the other ones on the computer).

As a consequence you will be accountable for delivering the right product configurations to reach the development milestones.

Your challenges:

• Liaise with many different people and specialities from the architect to the application specialist without forgetting V&V manager and project leader
• Be part of the integration strategy and define a batching policy and schedule of application evolution to ensure the different critical development milestones,
• Be in contact with people developing module integration and modeling tools

Your boarding pass:

• Educated to an engineering degree level or equivalent
• Experience on product or on system integration
• Confident with building strategies of validation
• Ability to cope with a constant moving context in the frame of product under design and test
• Strong communication/negotiation skills
• Problem identification and analysis skills
• Capacity to make things happen and make people adhere
• Negotiation level of English and advanced level of French
• IT and software development skills is a plus
