A venture capital firm is seeking a candidate with fundraising experience for a part-time role leading investor relations. This position involves developing strategies, managing communication with LPs, and may be remote or based in Paris or Southern Germany. Strong communication skills and experience with global investors are essential. Knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is advantageous.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a candidate with some fundraising experience to join an early stage Venture Capital firm, in a newly created position, to lead the fundraising and investor relations strategy. The role is a remote working role (must be based in Europe) or can offer an office environment in Paris or Southern Germany. You will work part time initially for 6 months, then move to a permanent basis.
The role will work directly for two Partners, and support the leadership team in developing and extending its investor network across LPs including family offices, fund of funds and institutional investors across all geographies. You will be responsible for establishing and executing the fundraising strategy and plan, managing the target pipeline and the CRM. As part of the role, you will develop appropriate marketing materials to use on roadshows and events. You will manage all investor outreach communications and manage the relationships of LPs all the way through to closing, including overseeing the due diligence process of new investors. All ongoing investor communications and reporting will be managed by this individual. You will get involved in sector specific content creation for engaging with LPs, working closely with the investment team. The role will involve an element of travel.
The ideal candidate must have previous fundraising experience from all types of investors. Prior venture capital experience is an advantage, along with global investor outreach. You must be a strong communicator who can excel at building strong relationships with high profile stakeholders. Fluency in French, German or Spanish is a benefit.
