Amadeus is seeking a Functional Architect to join a newly formed team of cross-functional experts responsible for analyzing and designing solution proposals for complex, multi-business-unit use cases in travel.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to translate customer needs into integrated solutions, provide high-level cost estimates, and support presales activities in a global, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within the Travel Industry with domain expertise.
• Ability to discuss solution architecture, integrations and constraints with engineering teams.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into integrated solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly across business and technology domains.
• Experience in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Consulting, or Product Management is a plus.

Summary

As a Functional Expert, you will join a newly formed team of cross-functional experts responsible for analyzing and designing solution proposals for complex, multi-business-unit use cases.

• Analyze cross-vertical business needs and design integrated solution proposals;
• Provide high-level cost estimates, including development and running costs;
• Support presales activities for potential new engagements;

About The Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience within the Travel Industry, with deep expertise in at least one relevant business or functional domain;
• Good technical understanding, with the ability to discuss solution architecture, integrations, and technical constraints with engineering teams;
• Strong ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into integrated solutions;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging with both internal teams and customers;
• Ability to quickly learn and operate across different business and technology domains;
• Experience in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Consulting, or Product Management is a plus.
