Job summary

Amadeus seeks a Functional Architect for the Travel Industry to join a newly formed cross-functional team. You will analyze complex, multi-unit use cases and design integrated proposals drawing on deep travel domain expertise.

You will translate customer needs into cohesive solutions, discuss architecture with engineering, and support presales activities. This role offers a hybrid work model within a global, inclusive environment and opportunities to shape the future of travel.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within the Travel Industry and deep expertise in at least one business/domain.
• Good technical understanding with ability to discuss solution architecture, integrations, and constraints with engineering teams.
• Strong ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into integrated solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to quickly learn and operate across different business and technology domains.
• Experience in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Consulting, or Product Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level cost estimates, including development and running costs.
• Support presales activities for potential new engagements.
