Description du poste
About the role

🎯 What is the Medical Software At Alan, we believe healthcare should be personal, accessible, and focused on keeping people healthy – not just treating them when they're sick. Yet today's healthcare system falls short: it's impersonal, complex to navigate, and primarily reactive rather than preventive.

The Clinic crew is on a mission to change this. We're building Alan's Clinic – a comprehensive health services platform that connects members with a diverse team of health professionals (therapists, doctors, physiotherapists, and more) who provide personalised, immediate care through chat and video consultations.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Clinic crew, you'll build services that directly impact thousands of members' health journeys every day. You’ll develop the member experience, the operations stack that empowers health professionals, and the underlying clinic platform that makes it all possible. Your work will help make healthcare personal, scale preventive care, ensure secure and compliant solutions, and support a worldwide customer base.

Qualifications
  • Member-facing product expertise – you understand what it takes to build delightful user experiences at scale.
  • Open to working with TypeScript and Python in a cross‑platform environment, familiar with modern web technologies, and proficient in Object‑Oriented Programming using Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, and C#.
  • Clear progression in your career – increasing responsibility, scope, and impact over time.
  • Humble and still willing to grow.
  • Fluent in English.
Standout qualities
  • Experience building digital health products in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Mobile development experience (React Native) – our members live on mobile.
Inclusivity statement

We hire people, not roles. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply. If you identify as a woman, we recognize that women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements, so we encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box.

Benefits
  • Perks & benefits include a stimulating environment, a culture that values innovation, and support for a high‑quality work experience.
  • Strong culture guided by a set of cultural values that shape how we work.
Application process

You'll apply for a specific area, but you may ultimately join a different part of our engineering organization, depending on where we believe you'll have the most impact.
