INRAE is seeking a software engineer to maintain and develop the PFEM data platforms, including MAMA and GRANDMA, across front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases. You will implement tests and CI/CD, document architectures and APIs, and support collaboration with project teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in bioinformatics or CS, with strong skills in TypeScript, React, Express, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, OpenStack, and Docker/Docker Compose. A proactive, service-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M2) in bioinformatics / computer science.
• Proficiency in web development: TypeScript, React.js, Express.
• Experience with CI/CD in GitLab.
• REST APIs with OpenAPI; API documentation.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL; SQL knowledge.
• Awareness of OWASP security practices.
• Clear technical documentation; OpenStack knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Administer and develop core web applications (MAMA and GRANDMA).
• Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for platforms.
• Implement testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines; ensure quality."
• Offer user support and prepare technical documentation for interfaces and deployment.
• Collaborate with project teams across front-end, back-end, and data systems.
