Job summary

Teamwill Consulting in France is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and operate production software across the full stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, and data layers. You will work on modernizing legacy platforms, building shared assets, and delivering client-specific software with a strong emphasis on clean, secure, and well-tested code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on, full-stack software engineering experience across backend, frontend, and database/infrastructure.
• Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot; solid knowledge of React or Angular; Python and FastAPI for data/AI work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test backend services and APIs following an event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Design, build, and test front-end applications leveraging Design Systems and modern frameworks.
• Own your applications end-to-end up to production and support users in production environments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, PMs, BAs, and SMEs to clarify requirements and address non-functional requirements.
• Write automated tests and apply secure coding practices by default; participate in code reviews.
• Decompose large legacy services into smaller, independently deployable components.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines per Teamwill Everything as Code practice; provide feedback for platform improvements.
• When relevant, use AI coding agents in the full workflow and document changes.
