Job summary

Shift Technology is hiring a Full Stack Engineer Intern in Paris to build an internal tool that helps Data Scientists create and manage JSON configuration files for product features. You’ll work with Product, UX, and Data Science teams to shape requirements and deliver a user-friendly interface.

You should be enrolled in an engineering program, know React and/or C#, and have a strong engineering mindset. The role requires autonomy, curiosity, and English fluency, with a 6‑month internship

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or university program in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong skills in React and/or C#, and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an internal project: a tool to generate JSON configuration files for Shift’s product features.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define requirements and craft a simple user experience.
• Design and build the frontend of the tool in React for guided value selection.
• Develop backend services to validate choices and generate JSON configuration files.
• Share progress with developers and stakeholders and collect feedback.
• Deploy and maintain the tool to save time for Data Science teams.
