Datadog is seeking Software Engineering Interns in a hybrid Paris-based program. You will contribute to production systems handling real-time observability data across backend, frontend, and infrastructure components, mentored by experienced engineers.

Applicants should be pursuing a CS/SE degree with strong fundamentals and programming skills, and have interest in AI-assisted tooling. The 6-month internship starts Feb 2027, with relocation support where applicable in France.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/SE degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in programming languages; interest in AI-assisted tools for development.
• Available for a 6-month internship starting Feb–Jun 2027.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to production systems processing real-time observability data.
• Build and improve distributed backend/frontend systems and cloud services.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability challenges.
• Own and deliver technical projects from design through deployment with guidance.
