Job summary

Teamwill Consulting is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and operate production software across the full stack: back end, front end, and the data layer in between. Depending on your assignment, you might modernize a large business‑critical legacy platform, deliver custom software directly for a client through the Custom Dev practice, or a mix of both.

In every case, the standard is the same: clean, well‑tested, secure code that someone else can safely change after you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience across backend, frontend, and data work.
• Strong Java with Spring Boot; frontend with React or Angular; Python and FastAPI knowledge.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and cloud‑native computing.
• Hands‑on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines; secure‑by‑default practices.
• Professional fluency in English; professional French for roles in France.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test backend services and APIs, using event‑driven approaches when appropriate.
• Design, build, and test frontend applications and UI leveraging Design Systems.
• Own applications end to end through production and support users in production.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and SMEs to clarify requirements and own non‑functional needs.
• Write automated tests (unit/integration/contract/E2E) and maintain secure coding practices.
• Decompose legacy services into smaller, deployable microservices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
