Responsibilities
- People Management : Manage a team of 5 Frontend Engineers, spending approximately 80% of your time on management activities and 20% on coding
- Foster the professional and technical growth of your teammates through mentorship, pairing, and delegation
- Provide regular feedback to your team members through 1:1s and regular progress reviews
- Build a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture
- Conduct interviews to hire new team members
- Technical Leadership & Delivery : Lead the React migration initiative with a challenging deadline, ensuring smooth transition from the previous codebase
- Drive the delivery of your Frontend team to ensure that quality is shipped on time on well‑scoped projects in order to meet business objectives
- Embrace and promote GenAI tools within your team to enhance productivity and development workflows
- Manage stakeholder relationships across Product, Backend, and Mobile teams within your CFT, particularly focusing on complex monetization features
- Establish and use engineering best practices to ensure high quality
- Contribute to improving the Web team's overall operating system
- Write blog articles or speak at events to share knowledge and represent Qonto

Qualifications
- People Management Experience : You already have meaningful experience as a team manager, or have successfully tackled challenges that required people skills. You understand how to balance hands‑on technical work with team leadership.
- Delivery Excellence : You have a proven track record of driving team delivery to ensure quality is shipped on time and on well‑scoped projects. You understand how to balance speed with quality and can navigate tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- React Expertise : Strong hands‑on experience with React is essential for leading the migration and mentoring your team. You have at least four years of experience in software engineering using frontend JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular…). You don't need prior experience with Ember.
- AI Openness : Familiarity with or enthusiasm for GenAI tools and the application in software development. You're excited about integrating AI into development workflows.
- Stakeholder Management : You excel at cross‑team collaboration and can effectively manage relationships with Product, Backend, and Mobile teams in a fast‑paced environment, particularly in complex monetization contexts.
- Continuous improvement mindset : You put energy into getting better at your craft every day and drive improvements within your team and the broader organization.
