Loft is hiring a Frontend Engineer to refine Cockpit's UI and empower users with satellite management tools. You will work with the Frontend and Software teams to deliver robust web features. The role emphasizes TypeScript, Vue/React, and strong UX thinking.

You’ll collaborate on GraphQL API integration, support internal teams, and contribute to mission success with hands-on frontend work in a space-focused environment in Toulouse.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Vue.js or React.
• UI/UX sensibility and user-focused design.
• Knowledge of Web Components is a plus.

Wanna join the adventure?

As a Frontend Engineer at Loft, you will work on a range of projects, including refining the UI of Cockpit, our satellite operations software, and empowering end-users with powerful satellite management capabilities. You’ll collaborate with peers on the Frontend Engineering team, as well as interface with the wider Software team.

About this role:

• Building and refining tools for satellite operations and autopilot observability
• Developing and maintaining our web applications and services
• Collaborating on UI/UX design to enhance user experience (no need to be a designer, just care about good UX)
• Integrating with backend services using GraphQL APIs
• Supporting internal teams in using our ground software (Cockpit)
• Getting hands-on with satellite operations - everyone at Loft plays a role in mission success!
• Tech stack:
• Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• APIs: GraphQL
• Bonus: Web Components (Lit)

Must Haves:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript / HTML / CSS
• Experience with Vue or React

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Web Components
• Experience with Mapping/Geospatial Libraries - e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox, or CesiumJS (could be useful for visualizing satellite data)
• Interest in Space or Aerospace - No prior experience is required, but enthusiasm for space technology is a bonus!
• UI/UX sensibility (no need to be a designer, just to care about that)
