Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Research Analyst to join the Corporate Governance Research team for the French Markets. You will analyze governance data, reports, and provide detailed insights on French-listed companies based on ISS voting policy.

The role involves preparing client vote recommendations, engaging with issuers, and contributing to proxy reports and research papers while developing expertise in French governance, investment, and shareholders' rights.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Law, Finance, Economics or Political Sciences.
Fluent in French and English, written and spoken (C1+).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High level and deep dive research skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to work extended hours during proxy season.

Responsibilities

Analyze corporate governance data and financial information to produce detailed reports on French-listed companies.
Provide clients with vote recommendations on shareholders' meeting agenda items.
Engage with issuers regarding general meetings.
Answer internal/external questions related to proxy reports.
Contribute to regular research papers and governance policy development.
Develop expertise on the French market in governance and shareholders' rights.
Engage with stakeholders internally and externally.
