Mercor is seeking a French Linguistic Expert for a remote contract role. You will assess the quality of LLM-generated French across translations, summaries, dialogues, and grammar, and edit content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.

You will annotate text, identify errors, and work with AI researchers to improve model performance, providing detailed linguistic feedback to guide training. Remote collaboration with distributed teams is core to this role.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in French with excellent grammar, syntax, and stylistics.
• Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in French.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.
• Clear communication skills and experience working in distributed, remote teams.
