Mercor is seeking a Bilingual French Generalist Expert — AI Safety for a remote contract role. You will write expert-level prompts in French, apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations, flag adversarial phrasings, and document your reasoning. Start date is immediate.

You will work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model safety, collaborating with teams to ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in outputs.

Compensation: $48–$52/hour

Qualifications Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Business-level written English.
• A Bachelor's degree , completed or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Preferred

• Based in France or the wider Western Europe region.
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
