Perit AI (YC F26) is seeking freelance AI Data Annotators to support French language alignment tasks. You will listen to audio and mark exact word boundaries in transcripts, ensuring every token lands in its correct place.

This role is fully remote and flexible: no fixed schedule, you work when tasks are available and meet deadlines. A careful ear for language and precise annotation guidelines are essential to deliver high-quality results at scale.

Qualifications

• Laptop or desktop computer required (no mobile work).
• Headphones and a quiet environment required.
• Strong French writing and comprehension essential.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio and align each word in the transcript to its actual spoken position.
• Correct timing boundaries, missing or extra words, and transcription errors.
• Apply detailed annotation guidelines consistently across large volumes of work.
• Flag unclear audio, edge cases, and anything the guidelines don’t cover.
