A global language services provider is seeking freelance language experts for translation and copy editing roles. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in relevant subject matters, a native level of Somali, and familiarity with various CAT tools. A background in translation is desirable. This role offers the flexibility of freelance collaboration on multiple accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content
• Professional level understanding of English (US/GB)
• Native level expertise of Somali as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances.
• Candidate should be well versed with various CAT tools like- XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling etc.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications like MS Word, MS Excel.
• Desirable: Translation degree or, if other degree, 3 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
