As a Freelance French HR Consulting Specialist you will serve as a trusted advisor to international businesses navigating the complexities of HR management in France. Working remotely you will provide tailored on-demand consulting support to address critical HR challenges ensuring clients align with local regulations and cultural norms.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver online consulting on French labor laws and employment policies (e.g. contract terms, working hours, termination procedures) to help clients maintain compliance.
  • Advise on compensation and benefits structures specific to the French market including social security contributions, bonuses and statutory benefits.
  • Share insights on French corporate culture such as workplace communication styles, hierarchy and employee engagement practices to support clients in building inclusive, effective teams.
  • Assist with employee relations issues including conflict resolution, performance management and employee retention strategies tailored to French workplace dynamics.
  • Provide real-time online translation services during business meetings, maintaining professional business etiquette, ensuring accurate understanding between parties and offering expert suggestions to facilitate successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients via virtual platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams) to understand their needs and provide clear actionable recommendations.
Requirements
  • Proven HR Expertise in France: Long-term experience working in the French HR industry with in-depth knowledge of local labor policies, compensation frameworks, corporate culture and employee relations.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and French (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with clients and interpret cross-cultural HR needs.
  • Remote Consulting Experience: Prior experience providing online/remote HR consulting services; comfortable using digital tools to deliver advice and build client relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze client challenges, apply French HR best practices and offer practical, compliant solutions.
  • Self-Motivated & Reliable: As a freelancer you will manage your own schedule to meet client deadlines with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely consulting support.
