Job summary

DEME, a global leader in dredging, environmental and marine engineering, invites you to join as an Intern Project Engineer in France. You will work within one of our project teams across dredging, offshore, environmental, and infra activities, applying your engineering knowledge to real-world contexts.

You will support project tasks, monitor progress, assist in planning and budgeting, and contribute to reports and calculations while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
• Interest in marine, civil, or environmental engineering with some familiarity with project management and field operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to interact with technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between project team and on-site crews or vessel teams to coordinate operations.
• Follow up project tasks daily, monitor progress and optimize team performance.
• Collaborate with project engineers and site managers for clear communication and logistics.
• Support in planning, budgeting, and execution calculations.
• Contribute to progress reports and technical assessments for internal and client review.
