France Permanent Controls Lead — QA & AML/CTF

Deutsche Bank in Paris is seeking a Control Permanent Officer to design, execute and oversee the permanent control framework for the French entity. You will ensure AML/CTF risks are identified, tested and reported, collaborating with Compliance, Risk and Audit to strengthen governance.

The role requires multiple stakeholder coordination, regulatory inspections support, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly in French and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent professional qualification and literacy in banking controls.
• Minimum 3 years of AFC, Audit or regulatory controls experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking/financial markets rules, regulation and internal controls.
• Experience in testing design and operating effectiveness of AFC frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent written communication; ability to convey complex issues clearly.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and present findings.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and execute the Control Permanent Plan in line with French regulatory expectations and DB Group policies.
• Perform risk-based design and testing of controls with quality, meeting deadlines and applying global testing methodology.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, minutes and follow-up actions for committees.
• Support ACPR inspections and internal audit reviews; coordinate responses to findings.
• Promote risk and control culture and deliver training on control-related matters.
• Potential coverage of Compliance or AFC Testing in other European DB locations while based in Paris.
