Job Title : France Marketing & Communications Manager

Role of Department To support and implement the commercial action plan of the Paris Branch in accordance with the strategy of each line by organizing the deployment of broker management, marketing and communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the France General Manager and the European Marketing Manager, you would be in charge of all marketing and communications activities carried out as part of the development plan.
- Define, own and execute the annual marketing and communications plan, based on the LSM business strategy, the broader strategic sales priorities and the various Lines of Business priorities in France
- Lead external communications activities:
- Organisation and implementation of any event (annual cocktail with pax, trade shows such as AMRAE, events, dinners) to enhance the visibility of Liberty Specialty Markets on the French market
- Produce and maintain relevant marketing materials such as brochures, factsheets etc for lines of business and LSM France
- Digital presence in social media, in partnership with the European Marketing leadership: LinkedIn, Instagram Liberty Art account
- Web updates
- Submit thought leadership ideas and manage approvals for written articles and talking points
- Manage sponsorships and supports such as the Liberty Art Award
- Manage media coverage: ensure media presence; draft / approve translation of press releases; brief, prepare and support staff being interviewed
- Lead internal communications activities and events in France
- Support employer branding activities
- Ensure adherence to brand and risk governance
- Prepare reports of Marketing & Communications activity
- Liaison with LSM’s PR agency
- Liaison with other Liberty Marketing teams based in London (PR / digital, social media…)
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communications and marketing skills
- Experience in communications and marketing
- Insurance products knowledge
- Very well organised
- Timely, accurate and able to prioritise
- Demonstrates autonomy and ability to take initiatives
- Have a commercial and teamwork mindset
- Have the ability to manage relationships with partners / suppliers / journalists
- Able to manage several commercial and marketing projects in the same time
- Able to closely work with Underwriters and Line of Business Managers to assist them in the development of marketing collaterals : brochures, product sheets, presentations…
- Creative, reliable and able to create trust-based relationships with the teams
- Native or bilingual French + Fluent English
- Management of 1 trainee
