Volvo Group France invites a customs specialist to secure and optimize operations across Volvo entities, ensuring regulatory compliance and process improvements. You will assess risk, develop improvement plans, and contribute to the France roadmap from Lyon with occasional travel.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in customs, strong knowledge of regulations, and proficiency in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, DELTAPASS or RITA, plus fluent French and English.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Customs, International Trade, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade.
• Proficient Excel; interest in digitalization and process automation.
• Excellent communication in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Assess the compliance level of operational functions to secure customs operations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize flows and implement customs solutions.
• Carry out process assessments and propose improvements.
• Identify, document and elevate potential risks; implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to building the France roadmap.
• Leverage customs, logistics and financial data to identify anomalies and measure performance.
• Take part in projects or lead initiatives related to new regulations or digital tools.
