Volvo Group in Lyon is seeking a dedicated customs professional to secure and optimize operations across our French entities. You will assess compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support risk mitigation within a fast-moving, international environment.

With at least 5 years in a similar role and strong knowledge of customs regulations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage Excel and data tools, and contribute to the France roadmap while occasionally travelling

Qualifications

Degree in Customs, International Trade, or equivalent field
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade
Good command of Excel, with interest in digitalization and process automation
Excellent communication skills in French and English

Responsabilités

Assess the compliance level of operational functions to secure customs operations
Identify opportunities to optimize flows and implement the right customs solutions
Carry out process assessments and propose improvements
Identify, document and elevate potential risks; make recommendations and implement corrective and preventive actions
Contribute to building the France roadmap
Leverage customs, logistics and financial data to identify anomalies, measure performance and propose optimization actions
Take part in projects, or lead initiatives, related to new customs regulations or new digital tools
