Comsip, a subsidiary of VINCI Energies Oil & Gas, is recruiting a FPSO Project Control Lead Services. The role will lead a multidisciplinary project control team, coordinating planning, reporting, and contract management for a major FPSO program.

It involves long-term international assignments across Paris, Singapore, and Geoje with resident status and strong emphasis on governance and control. The position requires a degree in Engineering or related field, 10–15 years in project control for oil

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years in project control within oil & gas or large-scale projects.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project control teams.
  • Strong proficiency in planning and control tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, EDMS).
  • Deep understanding of EPSCC project phases, contractual frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Experience in HR coordination and logistics within project environments.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.

Responsabilités

  • Lead and supervise the project control team across planning, reporting, document control, and contract management.

Job Title: FPSO Project Control Lead Services

Location: 1 year in Paris – France, 18 to 24 months in Singapore, 18 months in Geoje, South Korea

MISSION/SERVICES DIMENSIONS
  • Lead and supervise the project control team, ensuring alignment across planning, reporting, document control, contract management, IT systems, and administrative support.
  • Develop and maintain integrated control systems and procedures to monitor project progress, cost, documentation, and contractual compliance.
  • Act as the focal point for internal and external reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dashboards, KPIs, and progress summaries.
  • Support decision-making by providing consolidated insights on schedule, cost, risks, and documentation status.
  • Ensure that all control activities are executed in compliance with Company standards, contractual obligations, and project governance.
ACTIVITIES
  • Define and implement project control strategies, tools, and workflows across the EPSCC phases.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the planning, document control, contract, IT, and assistant functions, ensuring consistency and traceability.
  • Consolidate inputs from all control disciplines to produce integrated reports and forecasts for project management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with planning, documentation, and contractual deliverables.
  • Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment of control activities.
  • Lead internal reviews and audits related to project control functions and support external reporting obligations.
  • Ensure timely preparation and validation of weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves, milestone tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the integrated project schedule and ensure alignment with cost and contract data.
  • Leand and support contract management activities including variation order tracking, milestone validation, and coordination with the Contract Engineer.
  • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of collaborative platforms and digital tools used for project control and reporting.
  • Organize and oversee logistics for team mobilization, travel, and workspace setup in coordination with project administration.
  • Manage HR-related duties for the project control team.
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
  • The Venus FPSO will operate in ultra-deepwater at roughly 3,000 m and is designed to process 160,000 bbl./d of oil with advanced systems to manage large volumes of associated gas, which will be re-injected to maintain reservoir pressure. The unit will be permanently spread-moored using a 16-line mooring system, engineered to ensure station-keeping in relatively harsh Atlantic conditions. The development includes up to 40 subsea wells tied back to the FPSO via the subsea architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in project control roles within oil & gas or large-scale industrial projects, including FPSO or offshore developments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project control teams.
  • Strong proficiency in planning and control tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, EDMS).
  • Deep understanding of EPSCC project phases, contractual frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Experience in HR coordination and logistics within project environments.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
