A leading engineering staffing provider is looking for an Instrumentation Leader for a high-profile FPSO project in Paris. The ideal candidate will lead the instrumentation discipline to ensure reliability and maintainability of systems during the project and operations handover. A minimum of 7 years in Instrumentation, with over 5 years in offshore/FPSO projects and leadership experience is required. The position offers opportunities for international travel and career growth within a global team.

Qualifications

  • 7–12 years in Instrumentation, including >5 years in offshore/FPSO projects and leadership roles.
  • Fluent English (French is a plus).
  • Available for international travel during operational phase.

Responsabilités

  • Act as SECE Guardian for instrumented systems and uphold HSEQ standards.
  • Define and optimize maintenance philosophy, spare parts policy, and CMIMS data.
  • Review P&ID, Cause & Effect, and validate operational test procedures.
  • Drive reliability analysis and reduce OPEX.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, HQ, and vendors.
  • Assess contractor personnel and implement reporting systems.

Connaissances

Instrument specification
Safety instrumented systems (ESD/FGS/SIS)
Familiarity with SPI, S4I, SPMAT; CMIMS (SAP PM, Maximo)
FAT/SAT, commissioning, condition monitoring

Formation

Engineering degree (Instrumentation / EIA / Control Systems)
