Harmattan AI in Paris is seeking an FPGA Engineer for the Electronic Warfare team. You will design real-time DSP blocks and own RTL from concept to prototype, collaborating with RF hardware, embedded software and ML teams.

You will drive complex timing and interface challenges, validate performance on lab equipment, and help deliver production-grade defense systems in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong RTL design experience in VHDL/SystemVerilog for DSP datapaths.
• Experience with SoC FPGAs and their toolchains; RF interfaces a plus.
• Familiarity with JESD204B/C and high‑speed data converters is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement RTL DSP datapaths including filtering, FFT and detection chains.
• Develop real-time DSP and fixed‑point implementations under tight latency budgets.
• Interface digital logic with RF front‑end and ensure proper clocking and synchronization.
• Define hardware/software partitioning and interfaces for embedded software teams.
• Support bring‑up, validation, and integration with RF instrumentation and lab tests.
• Collaborate across RF, embedded, GNC and ML teams on system interfaces and reviews.
