Job summary

CT19 is seeking a founding Mechanical Engineer for a Paris-based medical device start-up. You will own the blood-collection device architecture, design, prototyping and testing, guiding ideas from concept to manufacturable solutions on-site in a fast-moving environment.

You will work cross-functionally with suppliers and manufacturing partners to move designs toward a reliable medical product, solving challenges in tolerances, materials, sealing, actuation and fluid handling while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex physical systems and solving multidisciplinary engineering problems.
• Strong hands-on fabrication, prototyping, and testing skills.
• Ability to own parts of a product from concept to manufacturable solution.
• Experience with medical devices or regulated product development is valuable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanisms and components from first principles
• Build and test prototypes
