Job summary

TechTree is recruiting a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to own the end-to-end video data pipeline for frontier robotics models. The role is fully remote worldwide, with a Paris office opening soon.

You'll work on turning vast multi-camera video into validated training episodes, benchmark and deploy vision-language models, and build QC/QA pipelines for data quality. Equity is offered along with a base salary, and direct interaction with founders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied ML in computer vision or robotics.
• Production experience running vision-language models and CV/robotics deployments.
• Deep knowledge of the video stack: codecs, multi-view geometry, calibration, temporal alignment.

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, YC-backed company that provides the real-world training data powering some of the world's leading AI and robotics labs.

As a founding ML engineer, you'll own the video data pipeline end to end — from raw multi-camera capture in the field to validated datasets that frontier robotics labs train on.

What You'll Do

• Turn petabytes of multi-camera video (RGB-D, IMU, depth) into validated training episodes
• Benchmark, fine-tune and distill vision-language models used to judge data quality at scale
• Build QC/QA pipelines that trim, cut and quarantine anything out of spec
• Own annotation pipelines run against demanding customer taxonomies
• Ship into live production for several of the world's top AI companies

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of applied ML in computer vision or robotics, from a top engineering school
• Production experience running VLMs as judges, and training/deploying CV or robotics models
• Deep knowledge of the video stack: codecs, multi-view geometry, calibration, temporal alignment
• An active GitHub/Hugging Face profile and a track record of exceptional individual achievement

What's on offer: $90,000–$120,000 base salary, 0.25%–0.5% equity granted at signature, and direct access to the founders and the world's biggest AI labs. Fully remote, with a Paris office opening soon.
