Bonx in Paris is seeking its first Forward Deployed Engineer for the French market. You’ll work with the Deployment Strategist to transform complex customer needs into AI-powered workflows, automations, and custom solutions that deliver immediate business impact.

As a tech‑savvy engineer, you’ll own deployments from scoping to production rollout, rapidly prototyping with AI tools and building scalable automations using n8n, LangChain, and emerging frameworks.

Qualifications

• Native French and professional English required.
• 2–7 years managing complex IT projects or hands‑on consulting with on-site delivery.
• Engineering degree or strong technical background.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical side of deployments from scoping to production rollout with clients.
• Rapidly build and iterate on prototypes using AI tools, automation platforms, and integrations.
• Design and maintain scalable automations and internal tools with n8n, LangChain, and AI frameworks.
• Bridge customer needs, operations and engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex challenges across multiple deployments.

The Role

You’ll be the first Forward Deployed Engineer at Bonx for the French market.

• Work alongside the Deployment Strategist to transform complex customer needs into AI-powered workflows, automations, and custom solutions that deliver immediate business impact.
• Own the technical side of deployments, from scoping and prototyping to production rollout, with your clients.
• Rapidly build and iterate on prototypes using AI tools, automation platforms, and integrations to validate ideas and deliver value fast.
• Design and maintain scalable automations and internal tools using technologies such as n8n, LangChain, and emerging AI frameworks.
• Bridge customer needs, operations, and engineering, ensuring custom solutions are both impactful and scalable.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across multiple deployments and continuously push the boundaries of what AI can automate.

The role is not

• This is not a Software Engineer role.
• You're not expected to build and maintain Bonx's core product.
• You're closer to a Technical Deployment Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or AI Automation Engineer: someone who uses technology to solve customer problems, automate processes, build workflows, and successfully deploy Bonx in client environments.

The focus is on implementation, automation, problem-solving, and execution rather than traditional software development.

You

• Native French, professional English - non-negotiable.
• 2–7 years managing complex IT projects or hands-on consulting with a strong on-site delivery track record.
• Engineering degree or strong technical background.
• Strong desire to experience the raw intensity of an early‑stage startup.
• Comfortable working with generative AI and AI-powered workflows.
• Rapidly prototypes solutions, tests ideas, and iterates based on feedback.
• Builder mindset: resourceful, hands‑on, and focused on execution.
• Thinks in terms of systems, processes, and scalability rather than one‑off fixes.
