Job summary

Reyn is seeking a founding engineer to build a comprehensive home-care and real estate referral platform. You will own the entire tech stack, from platform and infrastructure to the front end for the screens users interact with, and you’ll shape product direction with the founder.

You'll receive meaningful equity and revenue share, and you can choose a path toward leadership or a lean role with ongoing revenue share as Reyn scales across real estate and home services markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production web and mobile applications.
• The ability to have healthy rational debates, and commit to building the best thing for users and the business we're building.
• Deep knowledge of the stack: TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node, Postgres; proficiency with our tools (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Claude, GitHub, Google Workspace, Notion).
• Real experience putting LLMs into production.
• Unstructured data processing and relational database design.
• Scheduled or event-driven systems: cron, queues, retries, idempotency.
• Extreme comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering for the entire product: platform, infrastructure, and frontend for the user screens.
• Flesh out the web app and then build the mobile app.
• Own end-to-end areas from idea to deployment; set the bar for successors.
• The first 3–6 months are a grind as we find product-market fit with the founder.
• Afterward, decide whether to grow into leadership or switch to a lighter role with revenue share.
