Job summary

Cleo Corp is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Paris to bring our 55,782-regulation engine into production for real customers. You will own end-to-end delivery, starting from prototypes to stable production, while ensuring reliable operation in fast-paced client environments.

Key work includes building ingestion pipelines, scaling MARIA, and delivering robust TypeScript/Next.js-based solutions integrated with Supabase/Postgres and LLM orchestration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment with customer-facing work.
• Experience delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous settings.
• Built or deployed systems powered by LLMs or agents and understands impact on product.
• Ability to simplify complexity and make rapid, sound decisions under pressure.
• Bonus: fluency in French and English.

Responsibilities

The Forward Deployed Engineer is the person who makes that real inside each customer. You arrive with our engine: a RAG over 55,782 regulations, orchestrated by our multi-agent system, MARIA. You leave with a production system the customer's team relies on every week. The job runs on three fronts, and the stakes are the same on all three.

The three fronts

• Feed the engine: build and run the scrapers and ingestion pipelines that pull regulatory sources into Cleo's RAG, continuously.
• Scale the mapping: evolve the multi-agent system (MARIA) so each deployment maps more products, more markets, more rules.
• Live with the customer: own delivery from first prototype to stable production (TypeScript/Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, LLM orchestration).
