Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Paris invites applications from recent graduates to join our Disputes & Investigations team as an Analyst. You will support experienced consultants on complex investigations, fraud and regulatory matters, and you will gain experience in financial analysis and dispute advisory.

You will be trained on the job, receive responsibility early, and work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment with international colleagues across service lines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Audit, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis from top French business school or equivalent.
• Internship experience in audit, transaction services, forensics, or financial consulting is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting standards is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in complex investigations, fraud and regulatory matters.
• Assist with analysis of financial data, accounting records, and documentation to identify anomalies.
• Help prepare client reports, presentations, and working papers under supervision.
• Contribute to litigation support engagements, including data analysis and research.
• Participate in document review and analysis of emails and transaction logs.
• Conduct market and background research to support investigative findings.
• Organise, manage, and analyse large volumes of data across sources.
• Support business development efforts.
