Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician - Paris

Simaero is looking for a motivated and skilled Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician at the Paris CDG training center in Roissy-en-France. He/she shall take charge of all maintenance actions on the simulators including the diagnoses and repairs breakdowns, preventive maintenance tasks, and updates databases.

Mission

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of simulators according to the schedule
• Intervene, at the request of customers, to resolve technical problems
• Analyze and resolve breakdowns
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks
• Write and transmit CMMS intervention reports
• Actively participates in maintaining the operation of the simulators
• Ensure the safety of technical personnel
• Report any safety-related issues to the SMS
• Improve team practices

Our technicians are in direct contact with the customer and must be able to provide customer support in a professional and efficient manner.

Profile

Profil:

Required Skills

• Excellent knowledge of electronics and IT
• Technical skills required to operate, maintain and diagnose complex technical problems
• Ability to interpret electrical, electronic, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Ability to assess, isolate and repair faultsKnow how to use measuring/testing equipment (multieter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.)
• Knowledge of the aeronautical environment is a plus

Preferred Profile

• Graduate in GEII, GIM or similar qualification
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong interest in technical problem solving
• Intermediate level of English (due to international clientele and technical documentation)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance department
• Ideally, you should have your own vehicle
